(I) Ticket Purchase Method

The Penghu Hop-on Bus service primarily adopts a reservation system.
Passengers must complete ticket purchase and seat reservation no later than 20:00 on the day prior to departure.

(III) Boarding Instructions

  • Passengers using physical tickets must present their tickets to the driver for verification before boarding.

  • Passengers purchasing concession tickets must present relevant identification documents.
     


(IV) Accessible Bus Reservation

To improve accessibility for wheelchair users, seniors, pregnant passengers, and others requiring assistance, an accessible vehicle reservation service is available:

  1. Check the “Low-Floor Bus Required” option when using the online seat reservation system.

  2. Contact customer service at 0906-315-953 or via the official LINE account and describe your needs.

(I) Same-Day Ticket Purchase (Special Exception)

If seats remain available on the day of departure, same-day boarding may be accepted under the following conditions only:

Electronic Stored-Value Cards:

Mobile Payment:

  • EasyWallet, iPASS MONEY

※ Cash purchase is NOT accepted.
※ Two-day and Three-day passes are NOT available for same-day purchase.
 


(II) Discount Policy (Valid Period: Aug 1, 2023 – Oct 31, 2025)

Electronic Card Discounts:

  • Passengers using cards other than the Taiwan Nationwide Social Welfare Card receive 50% off.

  • Passengers with Taiwan Nationwide Social Welfare Cards (seniors, persons with disabilities and one necessary companion, children under 12) already receive discounted fares and are not eligible for additional reductions.

Mobile Payment Discount:

  • Fares are charged as full fare (identity and age cannot be verified).

  • During discount period, passengers using mobile payment receive 50% off.
     


(III) Free Transfer Benefit

On the same day of boarding and the following day, passengers may enjoy unlimited free transfers on Penghu public buses (excluding chartered buses) by presenting the ticket receipt or proof of purchase.

Additional Ticket Rules

  1. When boarding a Hop-on Bus route different from the one originally purchased, passengers must pay the fare difference based on the actual route taken.

  2. Expired tickets cannot be refunded.

  3. Refund requests must be made through the original purchase channel.
    Service fees vary according to each channel’s regulations.
     


Eligibility for Concession Tickets

  • Senior Ticket: Age 65 or above

  • Disability Ticket: Persons with disabilities and one necessary companion

  • Child Ticket:
    Height 115–150 cm, OR
    Height over 150 cm but under 12 years old

  • Penghu County Residents
     


Eligibility for Free Rides

  • Children under 115 cm in height, OR
    Height 115 cm and above but under 6 years of age.

  • Each paying adult may bring up to two free child passengers.
    Additional children must purchase half-price tickets.
